We may amend these Terms and Conditions by updating them on our website. You should review these Terms and Conditions each time you access our site. By continuing to use and access our website, you agree to be bound by the amended Terms and Conditions.

 

Staff Costs

Balkan Grill  Restaurants function staff are available for booking for a minimum of four hours, as per industry standard. Current rates are available for viewing HERE. Public holiday rates apply to respective dates; these will be quoted upon inquiry. Bookings, including staff, must be confirmed seven days before the time of the event.

Equipment

Balkan Grill  Restaurants can arrange any extra equipment you require for your event. The equipment necessary is itemized in the quote and consists of delivery and pick-up charges. Any damage to or loss of hire equipment caused by the client, client’s guests, venues, or venue employees will be charged to the client and invoiced after the event.

Prices

All prices quoted are inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated. Rates are subject to change.

Deposit and Payments

Payment is required before or on delivery unless authorized in advance. We accept payment by most credit cards, including MasterCard and Visa (a 1.99% credit card surcharge applies). Our bank account details are located on each invoice for payment by direct transfer, and we DO NOT accept payment by cheque.

All quotes are subject to availability at the time of booking, and a 50% deposit is required to secure the event date. Each event is considered confirmed once the deposit has been received. The balance will be invoiced upon confirmation of numbers seven working days before the function, and full payment of the service is required before the event date unless other arrangements have been made previously. Any additional charges will be invoiced after the event.

Confirmation of Details

Menus, final numbers, dietary requirements, and function staff will be confirmed seven days before the event. If the final numbers decrease after confirmation, you will be charged at your specific numbers.

Dietary Requirements

Balkan Grill  Restaurants staff and suppliers prepare all food following the Food Standards set by Food Standards Australia and are fully Food Safe Accredited.

The Balkan Grill Catering kitchen and equipment may contain traces of nuts, eggs, dairy, gluten, and other known allergens. Although Balkan Grill Restaurants takes all care to ensure these items are listed, we cannot guarantee that all dietary requirements will be met. While we understand the severe implications of reactions to allergens and will endeavor not to cross-contaminate your food, Balkan Grill  Restaurants will not accept responsibility or liability for an adverse reaction to any of our food by any guest. Please inform any of your guests with severe food allergies that if they are concerned, they can bring their allergen-free food in some circumstances. Upon booking, please check with your booking representative, and they will inform the function staff of this arrangement.

Cancellations

Staffed events canceled less than 48 hours before the event for any reason, including weather or other circumstances, will incur a fee of 100% of the final invoice. Bookings that are canceled with less than 48 hours notice may incur up to 100% fee, depending on the advice given.

Quality Control

Balkan Grill  Restaurants does not partly cater to any event, including serving cakes, desserts, or BYO food, without prior consent. This practice contradicts our Food Safety program. Please mention to your Balkan Grill  Restaurants booking representative during the initial quote stages if you plan to supply any food from home or a relative or registered food business. Images on our website and marketing material are styled for presentation purposes and may not be indicative of the presence of particular items ordered by the Client. Menus are subject to change according to seasonal and supplier availability. We endeavor to alert clients to any changes; however, this is not always possible, and some products may be substituted for similar quality ingredients.

EFT Service Chargers

Balkan Grill  Restaurants Pty Ltd applies a payment processing fee of 1.99%, including GST, to all Master Card and Visa card transactions and 1.99 to all debit card

transactions including savings or cheque accounts. This payment processing fee reflects the merchant Services fees associated with accepting significant cards.

Balkan Grill  Restaurants Pty Ltd engages an independent 3ed party to provide this service and does not profiteer from any payment processing fee received.

Cakeage fee or Cake-sub chargers 

If you want to bring your cake to our restaurant no problem at all, just let one of our staff members know that you have cake and we will store it in our cool room.

We will also provide you with disposable cake plates and cutlery. Sometimes, we can even cut the cake for you; it just depends on whether we have chefs available. Pre-arguments must be arranged when booking; a Service fee of $25 per booking will apply if you wish to bring your cake.
